TSU Law Faculty Dean, Prof. Tamar Zarandia met the Professor of the Free University of Berlin, Olaf Muthorst, and the head of the East European Bureau of the same university, Tobias Studemann. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Dean, Assistant Professor Giorgi Dgebuadze, and Assoc. Prof. Giorgi Rusiashvili.
The conversation was about the deepening of the institutional partnership between the law faculties of the universities, both in terms of increasing the mobility of students and lecturers, as well as the possibility of implementing common scientific projects.
Prof. Muthorst has been regularly visiting Georgia since 2018 on educational and scientific visits. Since 2019, he is an invited lecturer at the Law Faculty of Tbilisi State University. His textbook, "Fundamentals of Jurisprudence" (2019) and "Reform Proposals of the Civil Code of Georgia" (2021) have been published in Georgian.
